Subscriptions tab no longer works

The app used to work perfectly but now when I click to open my subscriptions, it says "the data couldnt be read because it isnt in the correct format". It probably is something that was caused by Google changing something with the YouTube website so the app isnt finding the subscriptions correctly, but hopefully this can be fixed quickly and easily. The main reason I use this app now no longer works.?
