ProTube for YouTube App Reviews

I was very satisfied with the app until I found that It cannot read time codes in the description of the video. Moreover the videos always lag and the sound keeps disappearing. A disappointment

Everything is nice and shine except a couple of bugs (PIP doesnt work sometimes for example). Despite this ProTube is still the best YouTube app on iOS Ive ever seen.

Its a wonderful app, by far the best one for watching YouTube. The only complaint is regarding the "What to watch" section: it doesnt remove already watched videos from the list, which is somewhat inconvenient. Hopefully there will be an update to address this issue. Otherwise its a superb experience.

What is going on? I cant download my "Subscriptions", so the app is complete useless for me. Fix it, please. The problem lasts for too long.

All this 5 years works fine ;)

add Russian interface language please!!!

Some videos on channels playlists are missed. When I open a browser version they are present. Please fix this bug!

What the heck is happening with your app guys, it was working amazing, but now its broken

Best feature of offline playback is not in the app anymore. Very bad to discover this only after having bought it with misleading description.

4 stars instead of 5 just because it would be greatly appreciated a list view of the video instead of the tiles thar force to scroll and keep scrolling forever to find the videos. Please add this option if you can. Thanks.

App does not work. It keeps showing an "app cannot be verified" error when I clearly purchased this and downloaded it legitimately.

Playing videos is buggy all of a sudden. Everytime I tap the screen the video pauses. Ive tried everything to fix the problem including deleting & redownloading the app. The app is also missing customizable notifications for new videos from subscriptions. Wouldnt mind a new look to the app as well.

Its so unusual to see a developer still supporting their app for so long, I think it really shows how much this developer cares. That being said, this YouTube client is the absolute best one you can download today.

First let me say this app is perfect as far as bare bones functionality. It is awesome to be able to manually select quality to any level, and being able to play any video as audio only is great. Other features this app has that many others are missing is the ability to select default quality based on whether you are connected to Wi-Fi or cellular as well as the ability to default to a certain feed such as subscriptions which is super nice! Where this app falls short however is the interface, it is unnecessarily messy and isnt an improvement on the stock YouTube app. The main problems with it are that videos are unintuitive to exit and the way it displays videos for example in a subscriptions or home feed looks messy and cramped. The other major problem that I have found is that it is not possible to like comments whatsoever. You can reply to comments but for whatever reason you are not able to like them. With the addition of a download feature for videos and fixing the interface, this app would be five stars easy. So please, add the functionality of being able to like a comment its basic and should not be omitted, I shouldnt have to keep the stock YT app on my phone just to be able to like comments.

Everything works as expected for me. Have had it for a few years. I dont know of any better YT alternatives.

Some bugs, but overall works really well. Has variable speed playback, which is what I have been looking for in an app. Just wish it had some built in stops for the speed at like half intervals or something similar (it bugs my OCD that my playback is at 1.99x)

Has some potential, but I feel ripped off, as the bugs really prevent me from enjoying most of the features. Also, Where is my watch later list???

Background playback, ad free, great interface. Just a phenomenal app that Ill be using indefinitely.
