The only YouTube app you need
This app works so well to the point where it feels more like an official YouTube than the actual official YouTube app. Worth every cent.
Subscriptions dont show up
Overall a great app but recently the subscriptions and what to watch tab started showing "no results". Reinstalling the app and signing out and back in didnt help.
Missing features
No landscape view, very annoying to turn my iPhone each time between search and video views. Please add that + the search filters of the original YouTube app and I will up my note.
What happened to the home page function?
It disappeared after iOS 10.2. Showing Google error code 400 for weeks. Also lost ability to add any new playlists: WTF, being held ransom by Google? This app has been great, but until this is fixed, dont buy this app folks!
Best Youtube Player But Needs A Few More Features!
This is the best Youtube app I have used because to the best of knowledge, thiss the only youtube app that can play in background when I use other apps at the same time. The ap totally worth the price just for this unique feature. But I cannot playback in 1080P, the best video quality is only 720P for my iPhone 6. I dont know if this is because 1080P is only available for iPhone 7 or 7+. But the default Youtube offers 1080P for my iPhone so I am a bit confused about this. I also hope that this app can offer users to add a specific Youtube channel on the home screen. For example, Safari offers users to add any webpage to be added as a bookmark or to be added on home screen and this is a great idea so that if we watch a specific Youtube channel everyday, we do not have to search the Youtube channel everytime and we do not have to sign in for privacy reasons.
Keeps crashing since last 3 updates
The greatest youtube app, and now it has crashing problems. Havent been able to load protube on iphone 4s running ios 9.3 for the last 3 updates...
Unsupported Videos
80-90% of the videos from my playlist comes up as unsupported video, whats going on? Can anyone help.
Double speed
Love being able to play videos at different speeds. Could be a bit faster on my iPhone 5, and the interface is a tad clunky but still good. Wish I could have all YouTube apps open here, but that isnt the apps fault.
Its ok but why is it $5 Canadian?
So why is this app $5+ Canadian when its that same as the free YouTube app. Its an ok app but feel I waisted my money for no real benefit.
Best app in the world
Best YouTube app since Google decided to bite the YouTube app... Shows all the categories that google refuses to... Lets you choose the quality of the video so that you DONT GO OVER your DATA LIMITS within a day of watching videos...! Doesnt load sometimes but a close and restart of the app fixes it...
It doesnt work most of the time
It doesnt find a server to play videos more than half of the time. This app is proving useless despite the money Ive spent on it
Really great app
This app is second to none in the YouTube sphere. I use it daily and cant speak highly enough about it. I find that sometimes loading can stall or fail altogether. This is both on multiple wifi connections and LTE. However, that issue is uncommon these days with the latest update. Really great app, and I hope the developer continues to make improvements.
Constantly crashing
Always crashes, and is a huge battery drain.

Great app. One problem.
The only alternative YouTube app I use and recommend to people, works well and simplistically on the iPhone and iPad....till about a week ago, now over half the videos only have sound no picture. I have to exit the app a few times before it will show a picture. Maybe YouTube changed something.
Must have
Please allow a way to edit comments and like others comments! Other than that, its one of the core apps you need on iPad. It literally turns your iPad experience from good to great for multimedia. This app is the reason I love my ipad
