The app will usually time out and say it cant handle any search requests, not worth the money.

Great app and love the background audio but the playlist are broke and dont go to the next video. Also you cannot see the Watch Later playlist it shows every playlist except Watch Later.

I use ProTube all the time and its the best way to view YouTube on a phone. Minimizable, runs in background, no ads, etc.

Sometimes i get "Too many requests performed. Try again later" bug but simply reinstalling the app fixes it. Anyway, best youtube client on appstore.

Please add a choice of video quality before browsing through the cellular

Besides the slow Subscription feed and the limitation of actions, the app worked just fine before today. Now it crashes every time it loads a video (LTE and Wifi). Can no longer use the app.

Please add a way to snap speed adjustment to at least 1.0x, 1.5x and 2.0x instead of 1.48x, 2.01x, 1.27x, etc. Its kind of frustrating especially with uncontrolled raw touch behavior. Anyway, I needed at least 1080p quality on YouTube for watching tutorials to keep the UI and text readable and also playback speed adjustment for faster learning. This app works great for that. The UI works pretty well for me, but the layout is different and some things may be hidden or not obvious immediately. Glad you added 4k playback. Why does YouTube limit features on iPad? On Safari, YouTube defaults to mobile mode, doesnt allow high resolutions like 1080p, 4k, and settings like speed adjustment is limited. Switching to desktop mode still has these limitations, but allows fullscreen.

All Ive been looking for--nothing fancy--just the ability to listen to the audio from YouTube--and not just music but podcasts, speeches, etc--and be able to use other apps as it procees in the background. This app delivers on that simple thing AND it has a play-where-you-last-left-it feature, so 5 stars!

Start casting a video and if you switch to another app and then come back to Protube, the video reloads on the TV every single time Great app otherwise but unusable if you need Chromecast support

This is one of the best YouTube clients out there. One minor problem with this update is that it no longer remembers where you left off in the video. Im hoping that gets fixed. Otherwise, this is worth the price.

I tried to contact them with no response. Maybe they will look at reviews. Subscriptions stopped working all the sudden. As other reviews have said. Fix for full stars.

Tapping a video automatically plays/pauses it until I tap it about 5-10 times. Then the video player controls finally come up. This bug has existed for almost a year. Happens on my iPhone 6S (iOS 10), iPad mini 2 (iOS 10), and iPad Pro 10.5 (iOS 11 beta).

Please ad this: Easily rewind or skip forwards 10 seconds by double-tapping on The left and right sides of video player (YouTube 12.04)

after the latest update the live stream is not working anymore please please please fix this

This app is phenomenal with the new update. I hesitated to buy it prior to it, but with the updated visuals, its an absolute must have. No ads dont hurt, and you can tell the developer really put effort into the small details (parallax effect on videos when scrolling through subscriptions is beautiful). Definitely give it a try!

This is the best YouTube app. Clean design that is much better than the current YouTube app. Supports 4K and 60fps. If you love YouTube, do yourself a favor and support this app.

Update: a year later, same review as below. Old interface and no good updates. Pass this app by. This app has some flaws. Takes a long time to load app and videos. Also, I emailed developer about the title being hard to read because its red. No response. Sad when Id rather watch a commercial rather than wait for a video to load. Dont waste your money.
